Hello anonymous questioner. I did not know them - I advertised the room on trademe, which is kind of the NZ equivalent of Craigslist/eBay/whatever, and they came to see it. They are amazing people, we are now very very good friends, and I’m looking forward to them coming to visit me! Extreme living arrangement success.
